The Sonos Five is the third generation of the Sonos PLAY:5 speaker, upgraded with updated design features, a monochromatic finish, as well as increased memory and processing power for improved performance.

Deep bass and an ultra wide soundstage
Sonos Five's acoustic design features three high-excursion woofers within a sealed architecture that eliminates reverb and echo. Two precisely-angled side tweeters create spatial extension and rich stereo sound, while a centre tweeter optimises vocal playback.The result is powerful and faithful music reproduction, as the original artist intended.

Enhanced with Trueplay
Trueplay puts the speaker-tuning capability of the pros in the palm of your hands, customising the sound of the speaker to the unique acoustics of the room. By recognising the distinct acoustic qualities of any space, you can always get audio that’s optimised for the listening environment.

Smart stereo sound
You can position the Sonos Five horizontally or vertically. When positioned horizontally, it automatically separates the left and right channels for impressive stereo sound. Vertically, you can pair two speakers and each smartly adjusts to mono for more detailed stereo separation and an even wider soundstage. And with its Line-In port, you can connect your turntable, CD player, projector, or other device directly using the 3.5 mm jack.

Expandable
Stream via your Wi-Fi network, and you can wirelessly connect more Sonos speakers to expand your sound system throughout the home.

Total control
Control your music and streaming services from the Sonos app* (available on iOS and Android). It converts your smart phone, tablet or computer into your remote Sonos control, connecting wirelessly over your home Wi-Fi network. And with touch controls on the Five, you can just tap to play, pause and adjust the volume.

Seamless streaming
Sonos works with the most popular music streaming providers including Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer, and features thousands of free internet radio stations.**

This Sonos product is compatible with the Sonos app S2 only. Most Sonos products are compatible with the Sonos app S2. The following historical Sonos products are compatible with the earlier Sonos app S1 only: Bridge, CR200, Connect (Gen 1), Connect:Amp (Gen 1), Play:5 (Gen 1), and ZonePlayer products.
