    Since the 1983 release of the original G-SHOCK DW-5000C, the 5000 series has stayed true to the square-shaped pedigree which has become a style icon. This new addition is packed with technological features that will set a new standard for watchmaking. The watch comes in a resistant stainless steel and offers the following functionalities:

  • Alarm which includes snooze function, hourly time signal and 5 daily alarms
  • Bluetooth® connectivity with a signal range of up to 2m, depending on surrounding conditions, and smartphone compatibility
  • Countdown timer - a stopwatch that counts backwards: when 0 minutes, 0 seconds is reached, the timer emits a 10-second signal tone; countdown range: 24 hours; measuring unit: 1 second
  • Customisable date format in the user's region
  • Multi language display
  • Multiband 6 radio controlled - a built-in radio signal receiver ensures that the exact time is displayed across Europe, the US, Japan, and China.
  • Reminder function - the user can set up to five reminders in the app by entering the title and date of the event. The watch display flashes or the illumination changes on the set date to alert the user.
  • Solar power - a high-capacity solar-charging system harnesses the power of any light source for reliable watch operation with minimal impact to the environment.
  • Time and place - pressing a button records the current date, time, and longitude/latitude coordinates, which can be viewed on a map within the app.
  • World time - displays the current time in major cities and specific areas around the world.
