The Echo Studio unites premium, immersive, high fidelity sound with the voice assistance of Alexa. A five-speaker array with Dolby Atmos generates studio-quality 3D sound as you stream from your favourite music subscription services. You can get help for your day with Alexa's thousands of skills, and link it up wirelessly with other compatible smart devices.

Immersive 3D audio
With Dolby Atmos, you experience a three-dimensional soundscape, with audio enveloping the listener, adding immersive space and depth. Five strategically positioned speakers generate room-filling sound with powerful bass and delicate high frequencies, sending different audio signals to your ears from all directions. It automatically analyses its position in the environment and adapts the sound for optimised audio, wherever it’s placed, too.

Amazon Audio
Use your voice to request a song, artist, or genre through streaming services like Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer, and more (subscriptions may apply). Using other compatible Echo devices (sold separately) in different rooms, you can link them up for multi-room music, and fill the home with your favourite music, radio, podcasts, and Audible audio-books. It can also pair with Fire TV to enhance the audio of your home viewing.

Alexa Skills
Access Alexa’s tens of thousands of skills by simply asking. You can set timers, add items to lists, and create calendar events and reminders to keep you on schedule. Listen to the news, and check the latest sport scores, or the weather. All with just your voice. With a growing number of skills, Alexa is always getting smarter. Skills are like apps and help you do more, such as play relaxing sounds or test your music knowledge. Just say, “Alexa, what are your top skills?”

Control compatible devices
You can manage other compatible smart home devices using just your voice. So you could switch on the lamp before getting out of bed, dim the lights to watch a film, or adjust the thermostat without leaving the sofa. Other compatible smart devices are sold separately.

Keep in touch
With multiple devices, you can drop in on other rooms throughout the home, or make an announcement to every room with a compatible Echo device. So you can let the family know dinner’s ready or remind the kids that it’s bedtime.

Privacy built-in
It’s built with multiple layers of privacy protection. The Microphone Off button electronically disconnects the microphones, and you have control over voice recordings and can view, hear or delete them whenever you like.

A Smart Speaker is a platform that can run 3rd party Apps. 3rd party content providers may remove Apps from the Smart platform or stop supporting them at any time, and we cannot guarantee an App’s availability. When new Smart products are launched, there may also be a delay before certain Apps become available. Availability of Apps is not included within the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty, or the John Lewis 2-year Guarantee for audio visual products, or the 5-year Guarantee for TVs.
