Hunter wax cotton jackets were traditionally employed for their durable and hardwearing materials: in this case, it’s a 100% dry oil wax designed to take rain showers in its stride. Wax coating is a natural, highly effective way of providing water resistance.

Although the nature of the hunt has changed over time (think less searching through fields and more city adventure with some country strolls in-between), its key design DNA is still going strong. As such, we’ve gone for a practical press stud and zip closure with press stud pockets at the waist offering storage for loose essentials. For the collar, soft corduroy prevents rubbing or chafing and quietly complements the wax finish.
