Alessi Bulbul Stovetop Kettle

Designer Achille Castiglioni likes to take qualities and functions of a particular object, and apply them to another completely unrelated object. The Bulbul kettle resembles the rounded form of a curling stone so you may be tempted to slide it across the kitchen floor. Best not though, and instead get it on your stove to prepare your favourite hot drink. It has a magnetic steel bottom making it suitable for induction cookers.

Bulbul is part of the Alessi 100 Values collection. To mark Alessi's centennial year the collection celebrates 100 years of research and the beginning of a new century of experimentation.
